What makes this oil so special? 
This elixir combines the power of retinal (a precursor to retinoic acid) with cell- protecting teprenone and antioxidants such as Q10. It combines the effectiveness of a serum with the intensive care of valuable plant oils.
What is the difference between this and regular retinol? 
Retinal works up to 11 times faster than classic retinol because it is absorbed by the 
skin in just one conversion step. It is more effective at combating wrinkles and is 
often better tolerated.
What exactly does teprenone do? 
Teprenone is a high-tech active ingredient that acts on telomeres (the end caps of 
our chromosomes). It helps to extend cell life, strengthen the skin barrier, and 
reduce redness and age spots.
Is the oil suitable for oily skin?
Yes. The squalane and almond oil base is light and absorbs quickly. Squalane is 
very similar to human sebum and helps regulate the skin's own oil production 
without clogging the pores.
Why is the oil yellowish in color?
The colour is a sign of quality! Both retinal and ubiquinone (Q10) have a natural, 
strong color (yellow to orange), which gives the oil its characteristic appearance.
How do I incorporate the oil into my routine?
Apply 3-4 drops to the face in the evening after cleansing. You can use it alone or 
mix it with your night cream or the products listed below.
Is there anything I need to bear in mind when using it? 
Since retinal makes the skin more sensitive to light, you should always use sun 
protection (SPF) during the day. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should 
consult their doctor before using vitamin A derivatives.
Which products should I avoid combining with this oil?
Products with a high vitamin C or fruit acid content may cause skin irritation when 
used with Retinal. Please do not combine with OXYJET PERFECTIONS BRIGHT 
SKIN and/or SKIN RENEWAL.

REFINING COMPLEX OIL is free from fragrances and preservatives, making it 
suitable for use with OXYJET pulsed oxygen pressure treatment. It is also ideal for 
lymphatic activation with the new OXYeMOTION applicator, either on its own or 
mixed with INTACT Perfect Skin Volume Cream.
